Nagaat Abdel Nassar Sultan is a young farmer managing her family’s 5-feddan farm, where they grow fava beans using biodynamic and organic methods. Committed to chemical-free cultivation, Nagaat ensures all plants are grown naturally, relying only on organic waste to enrich the soil.
“Our food is healthy, and the taste is different—you can feel the quality,” she says. “Even without refrigeration, it stays fresh.”
With support from the Economy of Love initiative, Nagaat has participated in workshops and training sessions led by agricultural experts. As a farm supervisor, she has gained practical knowledge in sustainable farming—and is now helping share these practices with others in her community.
“We’ve learned a lot, and now we’re passing it on. This knowledge benefits not just us, but everyone around us.”
For Nagaat, farming is more than work—it’s a contribution to human health, environmental care, and collective learning.
